Baotou Steel Strengthens Strategic Cooperation with Azerbaijan and Ukraine - N24.com.tr

China's leading steel producer, Baotou Steel, was established in 1954 and is one of the country's largest steel facilities. The factory specializes in producing seamless pipes, gas cylinder pipes, oil protection pipes, and various types of pipes, supplying products to international oil and gas companies. Additionally, Baotou Steel is ranked first in China for the production of railway tracks that meet European and CIS standards.

For the first time, Baotou Steel sold 7,114 tons of rails to the Azerbaijani market as part of the "Yalama – Sumgayit" railway construction project. Moreover, IB Group fulfilled a state order for Ukrainian Railways this year by transporting 27,000 tons of railway tracks via sea.

IB Group LLC and the state-owned Baotou Steel have long-term strategic cooperation. As part of this partnership, an exclusive representation agreement for Azerbaijan, Ukraine, and Turkic states was signed today in Beijing, the capital of China, with the participation of IB Group LLC Executive Director Babakafandi Imanov and Baotou Steel State Enterprise Executive Director Wu Xiang Dong.

It is also noteworthy that Baotou Steel has an annual production capacity of 17 million tons of steel, including 1.8 million tons of seamless pipes. Baotou Steel is a state-owned enterprise in China integrated with iron ore, rare earth mining, research, and transportation.
