IB Group and Baotou Steel Signed an Agreement in Beijing - Qafqazinfo.az

Today, with the joint participation of the Executive Director of IB Group LLC, Babakefendi Imanov, and the Executive Director of the State Enterprise Baotou Steel, Wu Xiang Dong, an agreement was signed in Beijing, the capital of China, granting exclusive representation rights in Azerbaijan, Ukraine, and the Turkic states.

IB Group LLC and the State Company Baotou Steel maintain long-term strategic cooperative relations.

Baotou Steel was established in 1954 and is the largest steel producer in China, with complete industrial chains and a range of seamless steel products.

The factory specializes in producing seamless pipes, gas cylinder pipes, oil protection pipes, and various other types of pipes, supplying products to international oil and gas companies. Additionally, the manufacturer ranks first in China in the production of railway tracks designed for railway trains in accordance with European and CIS standards.

For the first time, Baotou Steel sold 7,114 tons of rails to the Azerbaijani market as part of the "Yalama - Sumgayit" railway construction project. Moreover, IB Group secured a state order for Ukrainian Railways this year by transporting 27,000 tons of railway tracks across the Black Sea by ships during wartime.

Additionally, we would like to inform you that the manufacturer has an annual production capacity of 17 million tons of steel products, including 1.8 million tons of seamless pipes. Baotou Steel is a large state-owned enterprise in China integrated with iron ore, rare earth mining, research, and transportation.
